Her fascination with fauna allowed her to paint the occasional strange picture. Her imagination allowed her to see the world through a different eyes than most people. Today she watched a documentary on television about symbiosis among animals and immediately got an idea for a new painting on the symbiosis theme. She had the gift of seeing the future painting in her mind’s eye. The moment she looked at the blank canvas, she knew the painting would look like a stained glass window. A hint of a reclining crocodile silhouette, a hint of a bird in flight, and other hints of creatures in the vivid colors of a hot summer day with a bit of drama. We always sacrifice something in life for something we want more of.
